Yeah, still have the problem. Took it in to dealership twice, but they aren't any help. They just say there's no codes, and won't look into it further. Seems almost like a fuel pressure problem or spark problem, but I don't have the means or know how to check it out myself.

I did get a diablosport tuner, and the canned tune seems to help. Just started the process for a custom tune from Lew.

I did do a log file and noticed the fuel pressure drops when first accelerating. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Just for a second I thought you meant "canned tuna".

Depends on how much pedel you are giving it. What you are seeing may be Torque management kicking in. Are you sure you are seeing fuel pressure drop? Email me a log file and I will take a look at it.

Well, I loaded the log file on to the computer and it seems like all that saved was the fuel pressure. At least, that's all I can figure out what to look at. I'll make another and send it your way TDT.

I notice when taking off some what easy that the engine shifts really early like 2000 rpm at each shift and feels like it bogs down and has no power after each shift. I think it's a gas mileage programming that is doing this. Maybe I'm just used to the older 5 speed transmission that shifted smooth and ran thru the gears a little more.

Mine does it also. It's slightly annoying, as my last two avalanches did not have this issue. It's a lag when accelerating if not from a full stop where I notice it the most. I would believe it's programmed in favor of fuel.

I am planning to drive a 6.2 this weekend to get a good feel for the vehicle vs the 5.3 I have now. Went to CA on vacation and used a 2013 Tahoe and it did not have the lag, nor the mpg either...lol

I have a 2014 with 94,000 miles on it and it started the V4 bogging issue about 5000 miles ago.  Took it in and a "calibration file" update was supposed to fix it.  Didn't.  Has anyone actually had this fixed properly?  Thanks.
