loud cd player drive motor

I notice a wierd noise over the last couple of days in my truck. I originally thought it was background noise on the news channel I was listening to on XM. But then I realized it was also happening when it was on mute. Then I noticed that it was the mechanical "squirting buzz whirl" of the CD player. And it continued to happen even after I took out the disk. And it kept happening even after I turned off the truck and opened the door to kill the radio. Looks like a visit to dealer. Again. This truck is really beginning to annoy me.

CD player ?? I didn't even know we had that.. or people still used them. wow

Could be a cooling fan as well. I know the past trucks had them and would stay on after shut down till temp was good again.

I love my cd player, use it all the time.
