Which fuse is the 110ac outlet

Don't have to worry about wire size on AC side, even at 400 watts it is only a little more than 3 amps and even 18 gauge wire will carry that load. It's the DC side that will have to be increased. I used to do electrical work but my DC knowledge is limited. Will have to tap off battery or main buss to get enough power at 12 VDC to produce more AC power with a larger inverter.

What he said. AC side, no worries. However, depending on how big you want to go, your DC side may get very substantial very quickly. Remember, 12 volts vs 120 volts, your AC current (amps) will be roughly 1/10th the DC side. So your DC wiring will need to be 10x as large.

Please don't get picky with me, I know it's actually worse than 10x due to efficiency, losses, etc., I just used easy #'s to make my point ;)

Dang Boy I may have to GIT ME 1 OF THOSE THANGS............ 30mpg sweet.

I started looking into the new F150 too, and wow I have to say, as much as I love my truck, that is pretty sweet. I love the cluster, and all the features.. It actually has apps available for it unlike ours :) But it's got 400watt like mentioned above, and also multiple 110 outlets, not just one.. Also like the feature in the big giant cluster. It's a smart trailer module. Tells you if all your lights are working on the trailer itself, brake info, and even how charged the trailer battery is.. Pretty cool..

Did some checking, for a 1500 watt inverter you would need to use 3 AWG wire on the DC side(maximum length ten feet). The reason for the current outlet is to power a 40 watt clip on lamp so you can read the map at night when your navigation screen stops working.

Wait I just realized we are making a huge mistake here. If we want to get maximum tradein value for our 2014 GM products for a 2015 fugly we must promote these 2014 GM trucks as being the best things since sliced bread. PARTY LINE QUOTE " Mine is great I would never have bought anything else you will have to pry it from my cold dead hands" especially if I am trading it in cuz it is worth more used than a new truck..........boooooooooyyyyyyyyyy...........

I just tried charging a cordless drill battery from the 110v outlet and again, no go. As soon as I plug the charger into the outlet, the little light blinks on then off and then nothing. I don't even have the battery plugged into the charger, just plugging in the charger is apparently enough to trip the outlet. Even if I couldn't fast charge the battery, I was at least hoping to be able to leave the battery/charger on trickle, but apparently even that is too much to ask from the 110v outlet. Again, this is with nothing plugged into the charger. The charger has a built in fan so it doesn't over heat... apparently just this tiny 2" fan is too much.

Bravo GM engineers!!!

These 110v. outlets are a complete joke as is.
