Is there a update or fix for a spongy brake pedal on the new style GMC Envoys?  I have 13,000 KM on my Envoy XL and and it seems to be getting worse...anyone else with the same issue and resolves???

Not that this is the correct thing to do nor a permanent solution but, when I notice the brake pedal has more travel than I prefer, I pump the brake pedal the next time I'm parked, with the engine running. Usually after about three or four soft pumps of the pedal there's less travel. This effect does fade and doesn't last long, and I've had the issue on my Bravada along with my previous '98 Ford Explorer. I hope someone with more expertise in this area reads this and enlightens us to the cause and solution.

you might want to have the brakes checked out, cause if the pedel is spongy, but your not losing fluid, you might have a rear axle seal leaking diff fluid on the pads, contaminating them and causing a soft pedal.
