Slow your roll fool, I've seen several pick up trucks with cargo roof racks and they looked badass, I can do whatever I want with my truck and that means filling up my bed with whatever I want and using a cargo roof rack for anything else I want to take with me.

Don't forget, this forum isn't just for young guys that want to make their trucks look cool. Lots of guys on this forum are after practical mods for their particular uses. Some of us are nearly geezer age.

All the same, I'd be worried about rust and leaks from drilling a roof for racks. When I order my Snugtop topper, I may order the tracks, but I'm not sure that I'm going to put anything on the roof.

The yakima or thule rack use a clamping style so, there is no need to worry about drilling.

Sorry. The only Thule and Yakima system I'm familiar with uses a track that's screwed thru the roof every 8-10". Got pix?

The one Jon is talking about uses Yakima Q towers and clamp as shown below

We're installing a crazy rack made by smitty. We've put a 40" light bar on the front and two rigid pods on the rear of the rack. i'll post pics when its done.

The mods on this truck are a Fabtech 6" lift, 35" Toyo Open Country MT's, 22x10 Fuel octanes in black, a rigid industries 40" bar attached to a smittybuilt roof rack, and two 4" rigid lightpods on the rear of the rack.

Here is my Yakima Rack. I wanted a Thule system, but they are currently not offered for the 2014 model. I have ordered a Yakima Fairing since the wind noise is almost unbearable.

The front cooler rack, how do you attach it to truck?
