MD Chevy Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Any thoughts on the chrome H3 hummer wheels on a 2014 double cab 4x4? Found a pretty good deal on craigslist. Seller says I can replace the center cap that says hummer to something different. Any thoughts or knowledge on the center cap thing?
KMGZ400 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Aren't the H3 rims 5 lug? Even if the did fit I think they'd look weird
MD Chevy Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 They might be H2's then, but they are 6 lug
cobrajet84 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Have to be H2's, I think they would look cool. I always liked the hummer wheels.
Chris Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 H2s are 8 lug. H3 has 6 but I dont think the pattern is the same. I think they use the Colorado/Trailblazer bolt pattern

MD Chevy Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 I looked up the bolt pattern and its 6x139.7. Isn't that what is used on the Silverado? Anything else I need to look at to make sure they will fit. They are actually coming off a hummer h3x, whatever the x means...
03blackz71 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 They are 16" rims. They will not fit the newer trucks. Need a min of a 17" rim for the newer trucks.
Chris Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 The H3x has 18's. Bolt pattern looks the same, the hub size is way off though, I was under the impression that it shared the Trailblazer 6x127 pattern
MD Chevy Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 http://www.boltpatternguide.net/Hummer/Hummer_H3_Bolt_Patterns.html http://www.boltpatternguide.net/Chevrolet_GMC/Chevrolet_GMC_Half_Trucks_Bolt_Patterns.html Here is what I've found. Looks like the hub size is different and the lug size is different. Any knowledge as to if they would fit? I'm pretty ignorant with wheels.
MikeNH Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Assuming that site is accurate, no. The bolt pattern (furthest distance from one lug stud to another) is the same but the stud size (diameter) is wrong.
MD Chevy Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 That's what I was thinking. Its neither hub nor lug centric. Good thing anyways because the guy never sent me different pics. Must not want to sell them too bad...
