How to remove parking sensors from bumper

Anyone know what the procedure is to remove the physical sensors from the rear bumper without breaking them? I am replacing them with LED bullet lights but would like to resell them to someone who needs them thanks..

I think they just snap in from the back side.

Probably be best to take the bumper off the truck to see.

OK, stupid question time..

What happens to the circuit? It is not sensing any more so then wont you get the message that there is an issue with the park assist?

You will get a message.

Yep every time you start up "Park Assist Disabled" and the light on the button. Can't turn this off easily unless you have an HD truck.

That would drive me nuts......

But you would have cool LED bullet lights......................

Uh no... Especially if I have that message!

I have disabled the park assist per the up fitters guide... It does not alarm, it does nothing. The computer does not recognize the system.... Ice blocked them in the winter trailer towing blocked it in the summer and it wasn't loud enough to be heard with my aftermarket stereo adapter anyways

The up fitters guide fuse pull method worked on my truck (tried it for the hell of it) obviously wouldn't have bothered if I would have gotten alarms
