Has anyone seen the Hill Country Editions of the Silverado?

I went up to to a local dealers lot after closing time last night. Just looking around, and they had this really nice Hill Country edition interior trim on Z71 LT. Dual color premium leather. This was like a cream with cocoa dune mix. With "Hill Country" emroidered on the seat.

 

I actually thought it looked great. Better than the high country. I caught one of the service guys leaving for home and asked about it. He said they are getting them straight from the factory, and it has different color variations. This may be unique to Texas but was curious if anyone else has seen or heard of these. I really liked it. Would love to get one when it's time for me to buy.

It was at Benson Chevrolet in San Antonio.

 

Seemed like a luxury version for the LTs. The one I sat in and checked out was Z71 4x4 LT. It had a Hill Country Edition badge on the back. Very nice, as I don't really care for the saddle color in the high country. I've been looking on the internet and can't find anything about it.

 

Didn't even know they existed until last night.

No sorry. I just got on chat with the dealership and asked them to email me pics of the different color variations. He said it's a $1500 interior upgrade that you can get for any truck.

Yea, thats what the guy on chat said. The one I talked to at the lot last night said from the factory but I'm guessing the sales people probably know better than service center staff.

Nah totally different. Hill Country in reference to the Texas Hill Country I'm assuming. You can't get High Country trim on LT Z71. It's dealer interior upgrade for the lower level models according to the chat dealer rep.

 

Hopefully he'll send some pics. I thought it was nicer than the High Country saddle interior.

A) I'd be willing to bet the dealer is wrong and its a High Country.

B) its a dealer add on or other type of aftermarket addition.

 

When I bought my truck, my salesman knew nothing about the truck I knew more just by the little research I did before looking.

I confirmed via the chat rep at the dealer that it is an dealer add on, done at the dealership.

 

Damn guy never sent me the pics, was hoping to post them, I wanted to see the black and white variation he mentioned. The one I looked at was cream and cocoa, which was really nice but looked strange on a black truck to me.

The High Country isn't an LT. Sounds like a dealer add on. Chevy's "Premium" Silverado is the High Country and Texas only has hills.....and wind.... a lot of wind. Sounds like the dealer didn't want Texas to play second fiddle and built his own version. I just wonder if you can wear a cowboy hat in that truck.

Thank you. That is actually the exact one I was sitting in. Colors look different in daylight.

I'd really like to see the black/white color variation they said they have. That is the cream and cocoa dual color leather.
