Has anyone seen the Hill Country Editions of the Silverado?

Looks like it goes equally well with burnt orange or maroon, Texas can keep it. :smoker:

The High Country isn't an LT. Sounds like a dealer add on. Chevy's "Premium" Silverado is the High Country and Texas only has hills.....and wind.... a lot of wind. Sounds like the dealer didn't want Texas to play second fiddle and built his own version. I just wonder if you can wear a cowboy hat in that truck.

Ha, that would be very Texan of them. And yes, I believe it's state law that vehicle interiors are tall enough for a cowboy hat. :driving:

Texas doesn't play second fiddle to anyone when it comes to trucks.

I'd say 50% of the Silverados/Sierras sold in Texas are "Texas Editions" so it just sounds like this dealer was wanting to do something different. I dig the Hill Country package.

Sorry if you missed the levity in my post. If you like the "Hill Country" great. Just saying it really isn't a High Country truck being an LT, so it must have been a dealer add on, and Texas has hills but no high country, thus "Hill Country." Now I learn from Blue Wrapper there's a law down there about cowboy hats.

Judging by the window sticker, the 'Hill Country' package looks to be a $750 dealer add-on. It's not on the window sticker and the dealer is stating the MSRP of the truck $750 higher than what the window sticker shows.

Where did you see that? When I actually looked at it on the lot I thought it said $1800, but then the chat guy said $1500. Man if that leather trim is only $750 I'm definitely going to try to get a Z71 LT next year and take it there and have the cloth seats upgraded. $750 seems like a reasonable price.

Actually "High" Country should really be a Colorado specific edition. LOL

Yeah the emblem on the High Country kind of looks like our Rockies, or the roof at Denver International Airport. but shoot, we let you Texans come on up and enjoy our High Country anytime Y'all can even drive up in that Hill Country truck if y'all want to. I'll be watching for the hat.

My aunt lives in Boulder. I will buy a cowboy hat specifically for the trip once I get a new truck so you'll know it's me.

You guys are forgetting about Gaudalupe Peak, the Davis Mountians, and the High Chisos in Big Bend. Texas does in fact have some "High Country".

If you look at the link provided for the truck. It has the msrp before offers listed at $46210. Then if you click view window sticker under the pictures it has a price of $45460. That's a difference of $750. As for the $1800 price it looks like the salesman is quoting the All Star Edition prIce.

Then NE should get "Snow Edition" LOL

For what it's worth, we currently have over 360 inches of snow in the Colorado High Country. Yeah that's over 30 feet of snow! That's why the best skiing is in the Rockies and we love our 4WD GM pickups.

Nah totally different. Hill Country in reference to the Texas Hill Country I'm assuming. You can't get High Country trim on LT Z71. It's dealer interior upgrade for the lower level models according to the chat dealer rep.

Hopefully he'll send some pics. I thought it was nicer than the High Country saddle interior.

So cloth interior trucks with leather installed aftermarket.
