I think it will take a fried clutch or blown tranny. BCM will tell the tech the line lock was used and there goes the warranty

I will admit that the photo of the ragtop version Ford has on their site right now is quite a bit better looking. I see a lot of Jaguar in the body.

Couple years ago I was looking for a sports car I could get a GT for about the same price as a V6 Camaro, couldn't say one was that much better than the other. Ended up buying a Geneses Coup. at the dealer I buy my trucks, never thought that would happen.

The new stang looks good to me. Tried to buy a Camaro but cannot see out of the damn thing. And you think the 900 interiors were bad? Will. like OP drive a 15 GT when they cool off. Cannot see me buying a ford but really want a 2dr v-8 bigger than the vett. Camaro looks ok on the outside, but sitting in one just does not work for me. Will see how the stang looks in person. With the IRS and what they learned from the Boss may make a nice ride in the GT.

Silver looks ok

You need one of these. No problems seeing :) since driving a truck it's not bad seeing out of it

and the Gain in Headroom isn't bad either; you go from 35-37 Inches of Headroom, to 93 MILLION MILES of Headroom when the Top Goes Down!

Ya verts are nice and these look great top down but not my bag. But for sure can see the stop light if you are first in line! Down here in south Texas, due to sun and heat it is mostly top up driving except at night. Drove one for awhile. 65 Malibu.

What I really want is a true hardtop like the three GTOs I had. I think Mercedes is the only one making such. If the Camaro was a hardtop I would overlook the view. Maybe the '16 will have a little more visibility.

Will test drive a stang when it gets here. Have a friend that is top sales guy at nearby Ford dealer. We discuss it over a few beers. Says he will get me into a Ford. Told him it may take a few more beers :).

Side note, his dealership sells raptors at list. Most dealers asking more. They had 7 coming in and sold 4 before they got here due to holding to just list price. Seems the oil play here may be helping @ 58,700 plus 6.25 tax and 250 dealer stuff

From what I hear it is going to be similar to the gen 5 styling with new engine choices we will soon see test mules are completed weight I hear is down too

I hope they keep it close to now but raise the lid (greenhouse) just a tad. Should know something by the time I might flip out and buy a stang if it drives well?? Want to see how the stang IRS works out as far as ride.

Have you checked out the hellcat? Sounds mean bit to heavy

That is my third option and the stock ones look good if you put nice wheels on it. But like you say a bit porky in weight and looks. Shoot, ford is far enough from the stable for me. Not sure I could ever get a dodge.

If you're used to driving a truck, you just may like the new Mustang.

Still, I love my '10 SS!
