Toolbox or no toolbox?

Opinions on the toolbox look. I honestly don't really "need" one but I'm up in the air about whether or not they look good. I'm looking at a black UWS brand low profile box for my white GMC Sierra All Terrain. Thoughts?

I use mine as my trunk. When I have the kids, dogs, wife, blah, blah, blah, it's handy to have someplace to put stuff to stay dry or out of sight. Right this moment I could do without it, family out of town for a little bit. However once they come back, I'll definitely be needing it. Plus I keep a few necessities in there at all time, fire extinguisher, jumper cables, tow strap, cargo net/bungies, work gloves. Pretty handy to keep the truck organized.

They definitely look good. It comes in handy to have a safe and secure spot to put your tools, firearms, jumper cables etc

Thanks for the responses. I think I'm going to hold off for now. Agreeing with kstruckcountry and don't want to use up all the bed space on something I don't currently have much use for.

I've to have 1... The thing I like about the 1 I got the husky lowProfile, you can put it in and take it out by your self in 5 min if you've to use the hole bed.. Just 2 J hooks holding it in

I have a du-ha under seat storage and its great. At the moment, it is over packed with stuff I carry with me so i think I'm going with a pair of undercover swing out boxes as well. They mount at the end of the bed, don't take up too much space, seems easily removable and fits under my bed cover.

Here the link on amazon for them

If you dont need a huge toolbox, I would look into the Undercover Swing Case. I'm getting that installed in both sides of my truck.

I purchased a Weatherguard extra wide box first, but it was just to big.

So, then I purchased a smaller Weatherguard that wasn't as wide and tall. I love it, it's perfect for what I use it for.

Toolboxes are very handy to have. IMO Weatherguard is the only way to go. they can be pricy but they are worth every penny. They are tough, great security and look great forever. I currently have a black one and love it.
