Both trucks only have exhaust as mods.

Head to head from a stop, same traction control setup, 4 races. 2014 was 2-3 truck lengths ahead after approx 1/4 mile

ok....the motors are 100% different. So I'm not surprised.

 

The 2011 6.2 L92 has 403 hp and 417 ft/lbs of torque.

 

the 2014 6.2 L86 EcoTech3 motor boasts 420 hp and 460 ft/lbs of torque. Not to mention it was specifically developed for a Corvette and then adapted for truck duty.
