Need "Multifunction Switch Instrument Panel" Diagram

Azelkhunter. I'm working on the same thing and believe it or not I bought the same exact latching relay you did as my solution. Still waiting for it though. My question about your wiring diagram is why do you need the second set of relays, the ones labeled out 1,2,3? I'm not an electronic guy, learning as I go so maybe I just don't see it correctly.

I have the 2nd set of relays for safety, I will let the bulk of the current from the lights flow through the bigger relays that will be mounted inside the engine compartment and wired directly to the battery. The latching relay boards say they can handle 30A but I don't really trust them to do so, plus with 3 mounted in an enclosed box I was worried about the heat that could be generated. It also allows for me to have a smaller package to install inside the cab and behind the dash where I would imagine space is limited.

Does anyone have the connector part number? On another note, the exhaust brake switch utilizes another 6 pin connector, information for that connector would be useful as well.

I just talked to my parts center about this. The 6 pin connector is part of the dash wiring harness. He said that would start at $400. Have you experimented with the pins to figure out which one/ones would run the relay? I wonder is grounded like the others. I wonder why there are 6 pins because the button only has one function.

Just in case anyone else is looking at this forum we did find out the exhaust brake wires are installed behind the switch.

Not sure if this has been posted but it is the factory wiring for the uplifter switches. Add relays and fuses that is it. My 2016 has all the terminals is the fuse block. Am I missing something?

So they actually have connectors for the fuses and relays? What model do you have? Most of the 15's I have seen, mine included, have a spot for them but don't have the connectors. I think the work truck versions may have them.

I have a 2016 5.3 Flex LT with trailer package. No fuses or relays just the connectors in the fuse black.

That is essentially the comparable model with my 2015 Sierra SLE. It's good they decided to add the connectors it should make it easy. I'm assuming the wires are in place as well. So sounds like it's just a simple change switch panel and add fuses.

The only reason I went with the other exhaust brake switch panel was that I didn't want to lose the downhill decent control. So now I have 4 switches and retained my 3 that I had.

I am DYING to try this, but am nervous as hell as I am NOT mechanically inclined whatsoever. I have a 2 week old 2016 Silverado Z-71 Double Cab. I have the 3 buttons/switches now and just picked up an LED bed setup that I'd LOVE to add the switch to the front console.

I wish they would have told me about this when i was building my truck. I definitely would have had it done from factory. I hope they have a panel for everyones options since every truck is different. I would need panel with pedals, TC, cargo light, they rest aux. Anyone know the part #'s? I have gone on the parts website noted here in the thread and could not fine the switch panel. They only have a direct replacement of the one I currently have. I may be good as the bulletin states conditions for 1500 WT, and 2500 3500HD trucks.

How do i see if I have all necessary wiring and relays? I should be able to just get the switch panel and add fuses...no?

I've read so many of these and it still seams unclear to me, I have a 2015 Silverado rally edition it and just installed the switch with the 4 aux lights and I have cargo lights and traction control, I don't not have the prongs in my fuze box for this but I all ready have wires run to switches now but want to change them into this switch what's the best way
