Need "Multifunction Switch Instrument Panel" Diagram

i put this in my truck, and no the 4 aux switches are no momentary. they are an on off switch and are a grounding type. look at the diagram of the switch. there is already a ground in the factory harness so u dont have to add one. i used aux one to provide a ground to the relay of my led light bar

What options do you originally have and do they all work? Also, where did you connect the ground of you light bar to for the switch to work in aux 1?

i am lucky enough to access to a lot of differrent wiring harness. i took 4 wires from another harness i had with the right size connectors and insirted them in the factory plug. i already had the led light bar in stalled with the relay harness that was provided. that harness used a ground that you attached to the body of your vehicle. i just switched the postive feed for the led on the relay to power the relay and removed the body ground , and the used aux switch to provide the ground to the relay. aux two I now have providing a ground to low power leds in my box. my truck didn't come with factory fogs so that is the next project

if you go to each model truck in most online parts catalog stores, they will show different options for each truck. it may take a while, but can be done.

Anyone want to share their thoughts, I am thinking about doing this with part number 23145158. I have traction control, bed lights, and hill decent. The only thing I would lose would be hill decent. If I turn it on before switching them out, I assume I would still have the function, but would not be able to turn it off. Does this seem logical? Would there ever be a reason I would want it off?

I just wonder why they left a blank. There isn't a way to use the blank is there?

Also does anyone know what the loaded 1500 Denali orpanel looks like? Does it also have 7 switches? Or do I need the 2500 panel to get 7 switches?

Hi All, I would first like to thank everyone for all the information posted here, it has been most useful. I think that I have found a solution for using the OEM Momentary switches to control accessories such as light bars. I have decided to use the 23145202 switch as I have the adjustable pedals. This switch gives me 3 open slots to use. The issue with the switches is that being momentary they will not operate a standard relay. Upon searching I found these latching relay boards that come from China and cost $3 each. I picked up four of them to try, they are 12V boards that use a low input, so when the input is grounded, the relay activates and latches, until the input received another low signal. I assembled 3 of them in a case made a harness for them.

I didn't want to order the upfitter switch just for the Aux buttons, I just couldn't justify the extra ~$60 so I decided I would sand down the icons on the switch and make some vinyl icons, it is still a work in progress. But I think it will look good.

I am attaching the schematics for you to reference. At this point I might need to change one thing and wire my low output to the switches to trigger the indicators lights when the lights are active. The light bar I have came with a harness that used a + trigger, so I modified the harness to make it a - trigger, that way any wiring attached directly to the switch is all -

I have yet to remove my switch so I don't know if the wire harness to the switch has all the wires or if I need to find terminal ends to attach all my wires. Can anyone answer that for me? Does anyone have the connector part number? On another note, the exhaust brake switch utilizes another 6 pin connector, information for that connector would be useful as well.

I asked my wife to cut the vinyl with her silhouette, I was amazed it was able to cut them so small. I haven't tested the light output with a white layer of vinyl. I am hoping to just use the black to keep the overall height of the emblem down so it's less noticeable.

Azelkhunter. I'm working on the same thing and believe it or not I bought the same exact latching relay you did as my solution. Still waiting for it though. My question about your wiring diagram is why do you need the second set of relays, the ones labeled out 1,2,3? I'm not an electronic guy, learning as I go so maybe I just don't see it correctly.
