I have a 500GB HDD with music and videos that I just plugged into one of the USB slots in the console. Took a while for it to index everything on the drive but MyLink found all music and videos. Plays Videos fine while in park. Music plays fine. Even grouped by, Artist, Album and Genre

How is your harddrive formatted? I tried it with some music earlier and it won't even see it. (Mine was formatted as EXFat)

I meant to follow up on my original post. I reformatted my drive as NTFS, and it saw it fine... having said that.. I think it pulls it's own data for some of the tracks, because I know I have at least one track in particular that I personally ripped from a CD I bought. However, it shows up under a different album name that I don't own, or ever heard of... So I'm not sure how or where it is pulling that data from.

Probably the Mp3 tag not the file name

I can't see how on a disc I ripped myself - not to mention, looking at the file on the PC, I don't see anything indicating the album it's associated with.

Depending on what software you used on your computer to rip the CD, it may have used an online database to fill in the metadata.
