Luster Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 That's what the "flapper" valve is for. You shouldn't have that if you have stock exhaust, but most likely if you have aftermarket exhaust you will have it.
newdude Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Need moar info! Is the truck all stock? Aftermarket exhaust? Stock exhaust?
CbraSvt01 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Range AFM, or get a tune to turn off active fuel management.
20L8TSierra24 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Range AFM, or get a tune to turn off active fuel management.Just run it in M5
CbraSvt01 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Just run it in M5 Doesn't that become an issue on the highway?
20L8TSierra24 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Doesn't that become an issue on the highway? Not sure to tell you the truth. It probably would run around 2500-3000 rpm as a guess at 75. I drive mine in M5 around town just because of the low speed drone. On the highway I put it in Drive for fuel economy.
Luster Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I put on a Magnaflow, removed the flapper and the resonator. I did that because I like the drone.
scott19677 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Embrace the drone. 14in Magnaflow with turndowns at rear axle, run in M5 all day long.Sounds great, but when running in 6th on the HY. it can get pretty bad.
