That's what the "flapper" valve is for. You shouldn't have that if you have stock exhaust, but most likely if you have aftermarket exhaust you will have it.

Doesn't that become an issue on the highway?

Not sure to tell you the truth. It probably would run around 2500-3000 rpm as a guess at 75. I drive mine in M5 around town just because of the low speed drone. On the highway I put it in Drive for fuel economy.

I put on a Magnaflow, removed the flapper and the resonator. I did that because I like the drone.

Embrace the drone. 14in Magnaflow with turndowns at rear axle, run in M5 all day long.Sounds great, but when running in 6th on the HY. it can get pretty bad.
