Ac seats

Anyone's ac seats suck? I have a 17 mile trip home from work and the seats still hot when I get home. It's annoying

There is a thread on this. They are not Air conditioned seats. They are ventilated seats. They draw air from the seat bottom away and out.

 

Air conditioned seats would mean they draw cold air from the HVAC system into the seat bottom.

 

Big difference.

 

If its hot in the cab, its just going to circulate hot air.

Are you saying if it's hot in the cab the AC seats won't work?

 

I have them in my gmt900 and they work great whether the cab is hot or cool

they are cooled with a peltier module. someone took them apart and showed pics.

Maybe some of those modules are installed upside down then.

Not happy about that crap. I would have saved the money on that option. I drove a limited f150 the other day and the "a/c" seats worked like a charm. It was 108 degrees out and with in 2 minutes the seat was cold. Smh..
