Maybe you can get in in a GMC and not a Chevy. I could not find that option.

I wish it had the all terrain red stitching, that would be sweet! I also wish it had the z71 gauges but everything else is sweet! Coming from an '05 SLE I can't even begin to say how much better everything is.

Has anyone considered Katzkin leather for their truck. I've never really wanted leather before but for some reason I kind of do in this truck. For the money though if there was even one wrinkle or anything I might freak out! I've already ordered a Mud River cover for my dog to ride shotgun. Anyways, here's the Katzkins I think would look cool in my truck.

Ok guys, since there is no GM/ Borla option for our trucks (I'm not going to pay that much just to hack it up) and I want a little louder exhaust with no drone I've devised a plan. I want to get some input before I jump in.

 

I have a very competent local muffler shop that I trust.

 

My plan includes hacking up the stock system. I'd have them relocate the stock flapper behind the third cat at the same distance as the borla, add the bypass tube around flapper (like the borla) into a new muffler and out behind the wheel with no resonator as I think it quiets the exhaust quite a bit.

 

What do you guys think. I thought about just swapping mufflers but from what I understand you don't get much change in exhaust note from just that. I'm just looking for my truck to sound more like my dad's bone stock '11 6.2l truck.

I got my front windows tinted today. I went with 35% so I hopefully won't get hassled about it by any police officers. Looks pretty good and it will help out in our terribly hot summers.

New here, here's what I got so far...

I has on it at the moment:

Borla touring exhaust (+10hp)

K&N CAI (+11hp)

Some Carbon fiber tail light covers (No gain)

and some sick racing stickers (+50hp lol)

22" chevy rims (Decreases horsepower I'm sure)

3.42 rear end

It is to get:

Supreme suspension 3.5" front lift 1" rear lift blocks

XD Rockstar 17" rims Toyo Open country AT2's (305x70xr17)

New custom exhaust (headers, cats, etc...)

Black grille and headlights

LED 3rd brake light

Step delete (hopefully some texture black nerf bars if somebody makes them)

Mud guard delete

Fender flares

Rocker armor

Chrome is getting blacked out

Black "SS" badging

Badge removal (Black chevy logo's are staying)

Fox Racing shocks

Valence delete

Tuner (eventually)

 

Hoping to be done sometime in spring putting lift and tires on this week (hence the pending on my signature)

So far my mods I add are leveling kit in the front, exhaust tip, Tailgate support kit, removed badges, bought a k&n intake (still haven't installed yet) and added a tool box, selling tool box for a tonneau cover. Was looking online and was thinking of swapping the center council for the storage bin council. Also looking to get a stereo system. They also sell the rear view camera. Friend of mine selling me his 22" rim with tires for $800. Still undecided.

Finally got a couple goodies on my truck. So far I've got an Airaid cai, MBRP exhaust, Mcgaughys 2/4 drop, topped off with a set of Foose 22's. It's really starting to come together.
