Base stereo question

Hey guys! I believe I am experiencing an issue with the stereo in my sierra. I am getting great sound out of the dash speakers, but not at all out of the door speakers.

I have tried adjusting the fade with no result. They just sound faint.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks

Nope, my stereo rocks pretty good for a factory stereo. If you aren't sure, take your truck to the dealer and ask to listen to a similar truck and see if it sounds any different. If it does, then yours may have an issue.

If you do this, be sure you listen to a similarly equipped truck. Don't go comparing your base stereo to one of the 7 speaker (with amp) Bose systems, since they won't/shouldn't sound the same.

I had a few people riding in the back of my truck the other day. They said turn the stereo up, so I did. They immediately noticed that there was virtually no sound coming out of the rear speakers. I adjusted the fade to 100% rear speakers, and they were super faint. Not sure what the deal is with that. My fronts are great, but rears are terrible. Did you have this same issue, or something else? What was the resolution? Dealer fix, or do these sound systems just stink? Thanks.

So I actually listened to some other Silverados, and it turns out the rear door speakers are just super low in volume compared to the others. I just received some Kickers that I am going to be throwing in the front and rear doors, so we will see how much of a difference that makes. Fingers crossed.
