I agree there we can do without the V4, too much junk to deal with, mines turned off. I don't know if we need 8 speeds but Ill stay open minded on that one. You do have to be carful with the mods, these trucks are sensitive.

I'm not sure on the 8spd either. I really liked the 6spd when I had my 2011, and i thought that it was perfect. It could turn out alright though.

Remote start from a smartphone can be had on just about anything now, for a lot less than $50k

Houston paper are advertising Texas packages for 25k now.

Wow that's crazy. I've seen a few at the local used car dealer that sells low mileage one owner vehicles. They were around $5k less than a brand new one is with rebates with 10-14k miles on them.

Nothing special about the mechanical bits on the new trucks. As for the gadgets, if you can work a smartphone you can use them too.
