Audison Sound System 2014 Denali Sierra

Hello!

 

I recently had a new sound system installed in my 2014 GMC Sierra Denali truck. When I picked the truck up the phone bluetooth, navigation voice, etc. was only coming out of the passenger side door speaker. The guys who installed the sound are asking me before the new system was installed what speakers did it come out of. I cannot remember but i do know that it sounded really good and the sound came out of more than just 1 speaker.

 

Do you guys know when you use your navigation or bluetooth phone what speakers the sound come out of?

Pretty sure it comes out of all of them. I bluetooth stream from my phone often and it doesnt sound any different than listening to regular radio. I also make calls using bluetooth and it seems like it comes from all the speakers. I have the Bose system.

 

What sound system did your truck have before they put in the new stuff? the bose or the standard?

Sound comes from all speakers

all speaker on oem system. the aftermarket system that probable went up to the oem and the installers left just one speaker connected to the car system.

yea but if they did it right it would still play everything through all the new speakers....sounds like they did a hackjob install.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt the Denali have Nav built in from factory? What would inspire you to tear that out and install an entirely new system? What was your goal?

+ 1 agree. Read the forum.. seems that a lot of folks that have swapped out the factory BOSE speakers had issues of some kind or another.

 

Not worth it anyway IMO as I think the BOSE system is pretty good in my 2014, just needed a little more base. I added a seperate subwoofer and seems like a whole new system now.
