Its a 95 gt he just picked up with the old 5.0. Even my aunts 99 gt with the 4.6 feels way stronger with more power. He told a buch of his buddys that my truck is fast but wouldnt hold nothing to his mustang. What do you think?

Yea i told him anything but a top speed run would be a disaster for him. :driving:

Yes its stock. I know you can easily add power to the stang but he would need it big time.

In 95 those 5.0s were making *maybe* 230 HP or so, probably quite a bit less now. The truck is a bunch heavier but I figure you got an easy 200 HP advantage.

Nice. Then again this was coming from the guy who thought his 85 vette bone stock could run a 10 second quarter mile.

The mustang forums and ford book says 215bhp

Yep. 215 HP almost twenty years ago. It's probably lost quite a bit since.

Hell you can beat him with 1 tire removed.

95 GT runs 6.7 seconds 0-60 and 15.2 quarter mile run at 89.6 mph now that was when it was new. I would add 10 seconds to each time run and take 20 mph off 1/4 speed due to its age. :rollin:

Wow...that has to be one of the biggest jokes I have ever heard.

There are still so many people out there who think as long as they own a brand of sports car, that they can walk past everything on the street. These trucks are heavy, but this is 2014. Most trucks today are putting out almost 400 HP from the factory. You will be limited by torque management, but if you got all of that out of your way, these trucks can actually be pretty darn fast.
