suspension issue?

So I've had the truck almost exactly 2 months now, and today my wife was driving behind me in her vehicle and noticed the truck was not level.

I measured each wheel well, and the passenger side rear is sitting about 3/4" higher than the drivers side rear, the front passenger side is sitting about 1/4" higher than the front drivers side.

Now that she mentioned it, looking at it straight on it is definitely visible, any ideas what might be going on? I'll make an appointment soon but just wondering what I'm in for.

I have a few other things to take care of at the dealer as well

- 3M applied poorly, bubbling/tear on the front bumper

- Transmission recall (shift to neutral)

- weather stripping in most of my doors is not positioned properly

- deep scratch in paint (was there prior to delivery)

- first oil change (8200km iin 2 months and 33% on the OLM)

I would start by letting the dealer take a look at it and then report back. I'm not sure what on the 14s would allow it to lean in such a way. However, GM trucks have been known to have a lean in them for years, but usually in the rear.

I have an appointment for tomorrow, the only visual indication I saw of anything different was the leaf spring.

This is from the drivers side:

And this is from the passenger side (sitting 3/4" higher):

Not sure which side is "normal". Is the drivers side too low, or is the passenger side too high? Guess we'll see what the dealer says tomorrow.

also make sure you are on flat ground. I checked mine and both rear sides were even, although I first checked at my dad's place and the driveway pad was very slightly sloping and the driver's side was about 1/2-inch higher.

Picked up the truck today - they had it 2 days to get everything done.

They told me that all the trucks on the lot are sitting 1/2 to 1" higher on the rear passenger side, so they have decided this is "normal". Anyone else feel like going out and measuring? Wondering if its a Z71 thing or stock as well.

They also told me the weather stripping sticking out past the edges of the rear doors is normal.

Picked it up after hours and the truck came back very dirty (muddy) and I washed it before I dropped it off so they could better see the scratch they had to fix (which they did). Taking it back to have them clean it, may check out a couple trucks on the lot and measure as well.

Could be a couple things. I've heard some car makers do this on purpose due to the crowning of the roads for rain drainage. Not sure if true or not. But also the gas tank is situated on the driver's side. Figure a full tank, 26 gallons times ~8lbs a gallon plus if your alone in the truck while driving, another 200ish lbs, that's almost 400 lbs on the drivers side alone. Could make the truck look lopsided to someone behind you.

most times this is just because they tend to have a little memory and may hold a tilt after slow rolling over speed bumps and such so if you bounce it a little it will reset the stance which usually happens when you exit the truck but the new shock may still be too stiff

the amount of gas changes this a lot as well, I rarely ever saw my chevy truck beds sit level on the new or old ones

Finally measured mine Sunday. Both of my leaf springs look like your passenger side. When I measure, each side is within ⅛" of each other front driver to front passenger and back driver to back passenger side. Of course, mine is not leveled or lifted, so I have the normal factory rake front to back.
