What is this?

Hoping the experts can help a noob here, this snapped today when driving on the beach. I've spent some time researching but can't seem to find this specific part - is it a stabilizer bar bolt? Is it safe to drive in this condition (I assume not)?

Any assistance is appreciated!

Yes you are correct, It's a stabilizer bar (aka anti-sway bar, sway bar, anti-roll bars).

Looks like the connection rod from the sway bar to the lower A-arm.

I could drive it to the next shop in this condition. Slow. Especially around the corner.

Thanks all for your quick responses, I've replaced several basic parts on my truck/tahoe, hoping I can do this too. Thanks for the video 14LT! Time to break out the floor jack and sockets and get some hands dirty!

It's a fairly easy task, you should probably go ahead and change the link on the other side also.

Don't raise just one tire , any sway bar work has to be done with the frt wheels/suspension even with each other .

Do both sides as mentioned

Do them both at the same time, leave them loose until both are installed/assembled then tighten down or you'll be fighting it. You can drive it with it broken most people do not even notice they have one broken when they come into the shop
