Good day to all at GM-Trucks.com. I just discovered this forum and GM community. I've read some forum posts and news and I'm pleased to have found this great, resourceful community. I am a 41 year young male with a passion for GM trucks and cars. Over the years I've owned a laundry list of GM trucks.

Here is a rundown of those vehicles: 1981 C10 Silverado, 82 K5 Blazer, 85 K5 Blazer, 87 K5 Blazer, 91 K5 Blazer, 85 Suburban K2500 4x4, 87 S10 Blazer 4x2 with 5 speed manual (was my only low rider. Oh, how I miss that lil truck!), 93 GMC Sierra Z71 extra cab, short bed with 5 speed tranny (saved it from scrap yard), and the latest and newest truck I've owned, my DD 2001 Suburban 2500 4x4. I am currently seeking a mid 80's 4x4 Crew Cab to build up with a 24V Cummins diesel and NV4500 trans. You can say I have wet dreams about GM trucks :)

Don't even get me started on how many GM cars I've owned during my short 41 years of life! No, I don't intend to stop my GM car/truck obsession. :PI work on all of my own vehicles and have more hobbies than I can afford. (typical man) :P

I am a U.S. Army Veteran of 12 years. I served during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. My MOS is 63W - Heavy/Light Wheeled Vehicle Repair Specialist. Diesel mechanics do it better! :) J/K

I am originally from New York City. I recently relocated to the tiny, but great state of Delaware. TNJ Murray is a few minutes from my doorstep. WoOt! (Strategic thinker) ;) Anyone in the Delaware, PA, MD, DC, NJ area that needs a fishin'/huntin' buddy? I bring my own food and drink and I'm house broken. LoL

Glad I had the opportunity to introduce myself to you good folk'. Keep up the great work with this site and community. Well done!

Welcome aboard. If you have any pics of those rides, post them up.

I do have some pics of my previous and current rigs. I will be happy to share them with you folks soon. That's my word.

Loved them K5's huh?! I am always keeping an eye out for a late 70's early 80's to make a project. Welcome though

Heh, that's a huge understatement. LoL I have a profound love of the K5 series Blazer. I can't seem to get them out of my dreams. If GM resurrected the K5 series (ala Ford Bronco) and brought back solid front axles and removable top (lighter material, hopefully) I would sell just about everything I own and purchase it the moment it hit the market. A guy can dream big, can't he? ;)

Thanks for the kind welcome, Texas. :flag::cheers:

Heck yeah. Now close your eyes and picture this....GM announces a new K5 Blazer for 2017 with the option of a stout V6 (for you budget conscious folks), a 5.3, 6.0, or Duramax diesel as optional power plants, 5 speed manual or auto transmission options, optional locking front and rear diffs, composite removable top or soft top options and plenty of bolt-on goodies from the GM parts catalog.

That, sir, would be the end-game scenario for the other big three manufacturers "trail-ready" offerings.

OK, open your eyes now and wipe the drool off of your chin. You're grossing me out! :driving::fingersx::crackup:
