Max Tow Transmission Cooler?

Does the Max Tow option have an additional transmission cooler as on early 1500's like my old 2003 Silverado?

It has an "enhanced" cooling package. i'd like to know what my NHT has too.

I think it only has a larger radiator & no seperate trans cooler. The bad part about this is the trans operates at same temp as engine because of being thermostatically controlled.

All V8 models have both the in-tank transmission cooler in the radiator as well as a separate air/oil cooler (it's integrated into the system so it's not obvious when you look for it). In my towing and from everybody else on this board, keeping the fluid cool while towing doesn't seem to be a problem. The stock coolers work very well.

 

Yes, they warm up the fluid to 200 or so even when not towing. There is nothing "bad" about that, there is no advantage to running cold transmission fluid.
