Skid plate

I was under my truck to change my grill, and could see all the pulleys on the front of the motor! Shouldn't there be a big ole skid plate under there!? Can someone post a photo please..

Mine has a big skid plate. Comes with z71 standard

That's what I thought, thanks bro. Clowns that did the lift must've forgot to put it back on. Guess I'll be paying them a visit Monday.

If you have it lifted, the factory skid plate no longer works. I lifted mine and the bolt locations are gone now. Unless it came with an aftermarket skid plate, the factory won't work.

The plastic skid plate still has a retail value of $250 at Chevy parts. He should have gotten it back to do whatever.

Agreed. any parts that are discarded in an upgrade should be offered back to the customer. Who knows they want it to back stock. But in reality probably 99% of people dont want this back so they didnt ask. Not much your going to do with it.

I went back, had auto steps installed, they modified the skid plate, and reinstalled it for me. Seems you must look over everyone's shoulder to keep them in check.
