GasJobMafia Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Hey so I have my torsion bars on my 04 silverado (z71) cranked at the moment and I noticed the tires have some negative camber and is wearing down the outter side of my tires, any way around this? Kinda makes me second guess a torsion key lift in the front
8.1HD/ALLISON Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Did you do alignment after cranking torsion bars? Unless they are maxed a good front end man should be able to get alignment done.
newdude Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Negative camber would be wearing out the inside of the tires. You have positive camber (wearing the outside of the tires), which can be a result of turning the torsion bars up real far. Needs an alignment to get the camber set back in spec. Or, turn the front end down a couple of turns.
