How much can I tow with 308 gearsm

I have tried to find my answers but mine is 308 gear and all the posts are on 342 and above gears

How much can I safely tow

I plan on buying a camper for deer hunting.nothing big,just a basic 2 man camper

Have you checked your manual? I'd do that before I rely on someone else's interpretation.

If I am reading this correct it is 6,500#

I am not sure how this works with gvw

Depends on which bed and 2wd or 4x4.

 

4x4 Short bed is 6,600 and standard 6' bed it's 6,500.

2wd Short Bed is 6,800 and standard 6' bed it's 6,700

 

Good thing you didn't have to say which engine since 5.3 is the only engine that you can have 3.08s.
