TRex Billet inserts vs Carraige Works inserts

I'm wanting to put billet inserts in my 2014 gmc sierra. I wanted to know ifnanyone has used these and what they thought of them and if they have pics. I like how the barsnon the trex goes into the C on the gmc logo on the grill. It looks like the carraige works does not but I dont know if their is a quality differenc or a difference in how they look installed? Help would be appreciated.

Don't have one on a Sierra, but I once had a new 04 F150 and had a black Carriage Works billet grille on that truck for nearly 5 years and it held up great. The only issue was that some of the bolt heads started to rust, but I contacted them and they sent me out a new hardware kit free of charge.

I've had great success with Carriage Works... not so much with others. Carriage Works looks as good 5 years later as new. No rusty, crusty crap.

Like you said......Some do not fill in the "C" such as Carraige Works (unsure on t-rex cause the web site shows it does but a member's pic it does not) but others such as Gen-X do. I like the "C" filled in and was looking into making a 3-bar piece (cutting off an old grill I had) for the "G".

Interesting. I'm not sure I like the "filled C" considering the G and the M still have spaces that aren't filled to match. At least the gap on the C allows for some consistent framing of the GMC logo...but who's to say I know anything about style? ;-)

My biggest concern about the T-Rex inserts, which I've considered, is I've seen photos of some rather large "T-REX" logo in the lower corner...not sure I want that. That said, I do have an old-school "4.3 FUEL INJECTION" badge that might go over it perfectly if the size is right... :-)

yea, the t-rex web site shows their logo on the grill, that was another reason I went with the Gen-X. But in the pic of the white truck above (which said he has a t-rex) it isn't...?

I pulled the trigger on the T Rex I was also concerned about the logo on the grille. I seen someone else post that he was mad that the T Rex emblem was not on the grill. I got the grille in yesterday looked it over and no logo on the grille . Will be installing this weekend.

Good info. Thanks.
