Hello, I just purchased a new 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT Z71 4x4. I do not too much about the truck as I came from being a car enthusist that drove a BMW. I want to what needs to be done to be able to run Fuel Octane 35x12.5x20 on a RCX 5" lift.

Fellow BMW enthusiast! I would look into Cognito lifts. You may have to run with a 7-9 inch lift to not rub with 35. Im driving a 2500, Cognito 7-9 inch lift with 24x12 American Force, 37 Toyo tires. My set rubs with sharp turns. It will also require cutting of the plastic piece in front of the truck.

BMW X5 wife driven in the house. Ok got that out of they way... I have heard great things about the Zone lift and if I were to lift thats the one I would use. Personally I just dropped my 4wd 2 in front and 4 in the back yesterday). Billsteins and Hellwig sway bars- feels solid but not for everyone. I wanted to have 4wd for the snow and handle more like a BMW haha. Whipple and long tubes on order and can't hardly wait! Look into that zone lift.

Thanks guys. I drove a 335i, totaled it and picked up my truck. I am on the fence between the RCX 7" and the Zone 6.5". These are the best bang for buck i find.

I have the same set up, Which shock Bilstien model # did you go with? Thanks for your time. I have the Edelbrock SC coming and American racing headers long tube going in at the same time.

So I believe the bilstien's are the 5100, not sure. Now here's the funny part or crazy-after putting some miles on it after I lowered it, I am not in love with the way it drives and looks basically like a 2wd truck and just not custom enough I guess. So Monday I have a Zone 6" w/ new rear springs and BDS traction bars (for the SC kit and all) Doing the Badlands 20x9 in chrome w/ Goodyear Kevlar tires, I have a Hellwig rear sway bar and the Hellwig up front. Air bag system w/ auto level deal for it too. I will do a post on all the crap and wasted money on I am spending on it, but hey I don't golf so I need a distraction...
