They make $100 sunshades. But a Walmart shade will work just as well. Add the money you save to your modification kitty.

Yes, for years I have used heatshield by cover craft on all five of my rides. Quality construction and They work really well and roll up when not in use. Ordered one for my 83 Pontiac GP and fit perfect.

Contact direct @ 800 777 6405. I think they run around 30-40 dollars and last years. Really block the sun and heat. Also good on cloudy days to prevent UV damage to dash. The dash on 83 GP and 90 Sub look fine with no cracks.

I have been using the Heatshield for a long time; fits great, keeps the dash cool and protects well, even with the lane departure camera. For my Ruby, I got the gold color. Use it all of the time here in Texas!

Got mine here: http://www.autoheatshield.com

My LTZ has the Lane Departure Warning camera next to the rear view mirror. To accommodate this "sensor" there is a larger cut out around the mirror on model 1467. If you don't have the Lane Departure Warning option, you only need the standard one, model 1442.
