Our local police force has switched all of their crown vics to these. They are faster, handle better, hold more equipment, and get better fuel mileage.

 

My wife and I looked at these recently, but went with the Traverse instead because it had a lot more room behind the 3rd row, as well as easy access to get into the 3rd row.

 

 

To each their own.... We would have ended up with a new Durango if it were fully up to me....and our own practicality thrown out the window.

 

 

 

Nice color choice! I love that there is no chrome on it.

 

Anything was faster and handled better and got better fuel economy then the Clown Vic. But just think, they could have gone with the.. TAURUS... Now THAT is one ugly car! The Exploder is just.. well ugly But hey sometimes we men have to sacrafice in order to make the ladies happy. The Exploder is indeed a good little cross over. Time will tell how well they hold out. Most Exploders have a tendancy to not be very reliable, though the first generation of Exploder with the 4.0L did quite well. Save for a few tranny issues.

Have you guys seen the new chrome door handles on the inside of the explorer? I hate them like you have to search for the lever and look hard
