Sounds like they need to team up and become a super force!

 

I took my wife's online College Algebra class and passed with a 99%. The teacher was impressed with her homework! hahaha

Of course now, at 30, they deny everything; then look at each other and laugh.

I have four Kids and pretty much everything in life revolves around them. It's the life we chose and although somedays I wish I never had kids due to how insane things can get and my personal selfishness I wouldn't trade this craziness for anything in the world.

 

My son calls my girls " stupid head" when they make him mad. He is 2.5.

I try not to dress mine the same unless they choose the same shirts. Sometime they both want ninja turtles

 

Its funny though, with some stuff like because one prefers batman shirts and the other superman

I have 8.5 month and 4 year old daughters.

 

I'm currently wide awake at 3:45 am with the 8.5 month old while she terrorizes her mom and I in bed and I need to get up in an hour for work. I've gotten use to 4-6 hours a sleep though.

 

The 4 year old is in full blown princess mode but shes slowly getting easier.

 

I agree not everyone's cut out for kids and this is coming from someone with very little patience. You learn to pick your battles and putting them before yourself just comes naturally. I wouldn't change it for the world. That being said, we are not having anymore. 3 would be absolute chaos.

4 boys here. When they were all teenagers someone asked me if our house was like a war-zone.

I was one of 3 boys. For the longest time I thought we were poor. Come to find out, my parents just didn't buy anything nice because we would destroy it anyways! I learned that when I choose to do the same thing for my kids now.

 

We all played sports year round growing up. Although it got us out of the house and we burned off energy, it made us faster and stronger so we could terrorize each other when we were home!

Hang in there. My 4 year old was the same way. Her favorite thing to wear was "anything pink and sparkly". She's almost 11 now, and now her favorite thing to wear is Under Armour. She's still a princess, but the boys always pick her first to play on their dodgeball team!

We never replaced the carpet in the boys playroom because of the constant barrage of Mountain Dew spills almost on a daily basis! Oh yeah, funny now, but back then I was having weekly meltdowns!

We had three, three years apart. Two girls then Jr. He the reason we only have three, when the three years came along after him we look at each other and said someone getting fixed. He turned out to be the most laid back and even tempered. Then he got married and had two boys 11 months apart, OMG, Id never seen more destructive critters in my life. We live in a two story so most of the time we visit him, we just cant keep up at ours yet. When we do all get together with the other 9 grand kids its amazing to watch. I bough a Roomba a few years ago its amazing the weight it can handle.

My dad waited until I was out the house to buy a new truck, everything that they had when I was there was 15 to 20 years old and always breaking.

Lots of lessons learned.
