Air cleaner replacement

I need to replace my air filter.

 

I was thinking of getting that K & N filter.

 

Can anyone suggest one they prefer?

I have the AFE ProDry S. It's a synthetic filter, but is oil free. You can vacuum or wash it to clean it. Happy so far, it was expensive, but so are the others, and it should last.

The Airaid dry filter is a good one. K&N works OK..It may cause MAF sensor issues if the filter oil contacts it.

If you do it right and don't over oil the K&N you won't have any issues. K&N has been in the business a long time and knows their stuff. I trust them.

You clean the filter from the top down (spray water), and oil the pleats from the bottom up.

 

I use the FRAM Tough Guard filter, my Walmart mis prices them @ $10.64
