2007 NBS lost brakes.

I have had some grinding coming from the rear brakes the last three days but had to keep going for work.. Was set up to do the work tomorrow and wouldn't you know it I pulled up to a stop sign on way home today and lost almost all breaks.

the issue is it feels like all I have is back brakes the way I have to force pedal. I just did the front brakes 3 months back. No fluid dropping anywhere and no dash lights?

Heating up the garage now to tare into it.

here is an update.

took off caliper and no pad on the inside. Outside pad paper thin. The caliper piston was running on rotor and wore it down. What a mess

That's exactly what happened. Just one piston though.I guess they use different calipers for the rear. The new one I went and bought has the caliper bracket with it.

WTF were you thinking ???

How dare you ....

You knew better and did nothing about it 'till ya lost your &)$;):(;)&)&)in brakes !!!!! On the roads shared by moms and children etc etc etc etc etc !!!!

Should I use anti seez on the caliper bracket bolts or lock tite?

Never use anti-seeze on brake caliper bolts. GM uses a lot of loc-tite from the factory hence the reason the bolts are so hard to get off. I generally don't use anything just make sure they're tight.
