blind spot mirror on sunglass holder

so, when driving a new tahoe, while my rig was getting serviced, i noticed a cool mirror on the drop down sunglass holder in the overhead console. I wonder if this would take the place of the ones in our trucks...

my thoughts exactly, only thing i use it for is holding checks during the week before i go to the bank friday. In the tahoe it covered the blind spot next to the rear quarter panel.

Actually not a blind spot mirror, designed to allow you to look-in on the kids or see someone in the back seat without turning around. No good at night when the back seat area is dark.
