I was preparing my rear wheel wells for wheel house liners on my 14 sierra when by I accident I found on the pass side one plug missing on driver side all three were missing. If you live in the road salt/brine belt you really want to make sure they are installed. If you already have the wheel house liners then you need to remove them to see if the plugs are there. The dealer thinks I'm poking around my truck looking for more issues than my truck already has. I told them I was only trying to protect my investment by purchasing the required equipment now this. Out of the 4 months of ownership the area where the plugs are missing is totally laced with salt and road grime. Perfect recipe for accelerated corrosion to question the sheet metal warranty when that time comes. I'm Totally disgusted. The dealer knows I'm looking for a new truck and not by gm!

Missing plugs is hardly a good reason to get rid of a new truck. if you have no other problems, keep it.

I do have issues. Same ones as everyone one else here that has issues. The list keeps growing. I have an open ticket running with the dealer already. this is just the icing on the cake. The issue with the plugs is that there are yellow keel check marks at the plugs where someone at the factory marked them. So much for quality assurance. I'm only posting to make other owners aware of what I found with my truck.

Sorry to hear that. Yes, quality at GM seems to have gone out the window.
