I have a 2015 Sierra 1500 WITH the fog light bumper, is the procedure the same as this post, without purchasing the bumper?

You can use the stock fog light switch, just t tap the led lights into stock wires.

I don't currently have fog lights now, do you mean I would power aftermarket LED fogs from the headlights?

No then that wouldn't work. The harness is not there, it would cost to much just to try to do it that you will be better off buying a relay and running your own switch. You can do a small switch and put it in the same panel as the headlight switch

Nitro - thanks for your youtube videos (assuming that was you). I just did the Kawell fog light install myself on a 2015 non-fog light option Silverado. My wife hit a pole a few weeks ago so I took the opportunity to upgrade. Overall pretty easy mod but it did take me 4 hours to get everything swapped and mounted. I purchased the fog light buckets and bezels from ebay for about $120 total. Picked up the Kawell lights for about $70, and found a new bumper with fogs and parking sensor holes on Craigslist for $240. All in I spent about $470 - still cheaper than the insurance deductible.

What LEDs did you use in that? I've been thinking about repurposing my stockers to some kind of flood/LED light but I want it to look stock or very near stock. I dont like the rigid dually look.

Not sure if the OP still cares or not but I’m going to try this mod also. I found a harness from GEN5DIY that lets you add power to the fogs from the headlamps. Only downside is that they stay on as long as the headlights are on but that doesn’t really bother me. I also went the aftermarket route and bought some fog lights on sale for the 4th of July from TheRetrofitSource.com because I don’t like the way the oem fogs look and I also wanted my truck to have updated lights as I have updated the front and tails already. Hopefully it all comes out great.
