Bigger Tires without lift kit

it's rubbing on the far inside bottom corner of the carpet type material. I could cut it and wouldn't anymore I just haven't got to it. And yeah I need to take more though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just out of curiosity, did you compare the BFGs to the Nittos side by side and were the BFGs smaller? I like the looks of the BFGs better. I'm assuming they were both 35x12.50s. Does that kit use the stock rear blocks? How bad is your MPG with the BFGs?

Thanks

I did and the BFGs were slightly taller. Idk if that's mostly in prt due to the new KO2 style being a bit more aggressive. Or my mud grapplers were wore a bit. And blackout is right. It isn't neccasirly great for your front end. But it looks good so I'll deal with the consequences. And rear blocks are stock. All I did was throw tires and level kit on it.

You can view uncounted sizing specs on each manufacturers site. BFGs typically run a little smaller than the competitors. And of course those advertised sizes will diminish once mounted and on the vehicle, by at least 1" if not more.

I put 305/50/20 without leveling. Nitro Terra Grapplers. Tires aren't really taller than stock but much wider. Here's a picture. I have it leveled now but it didn't rub before the level. Key is offset at factory or more.

what was your offset on those rims?

I know this is an older thread but I just bought a 2016 z71. I live in the deep country and have had two flats in two weeks so I'm looking for tires. I'm thinking 285 60 18s. I have no leveling kit and I'll be using stock wheels. Would that work? Or should I try to go bigger

I have a 2016 1500 lt z71 double cab with the 18 inch stock rims it currently has the 265/65/r18 on it, my suspension is a stock height, is this the maximum tire size I can put on the truck with out a leveling kit or lift? I would appreciate some help.

That's awesome I wonder how bad it'll be with a 2" level.

Jan 12th is the wife's birthday so I figured what better gift could I give her than some "new rubber" for my truck!? I have not lifted nor leveled it. It's a 17 Redline, CC, 4x4, Standard Bed, 6.2, 20x9 rims. Will 305x50 work without any type of rubbing?

I have no idea how I missed this truck, but that's an impressive tire on stocker 18s.   3 years later, I'm still debating my next tire.....seems if those 35x12.50 BFG KO2s fit on your truck, 305/65r18 BFG KO2s should fit on my 2.5 level as we have the same rims.

If you still have this truck and tire setup, would like to hear the long term review.   Please post.

I'm in the same boat with a 2016 Silverado Crew Z71 (midnight) and 6.2L.  Love this truck!  Want to put a leveling kit to gain a little height and slightly larger tire (like 275/70-18).  Not looking to screw up the ride, or have trouble parking in city garages.  Thinking 2" lift spacers up front and 1" in back to take out half of the rake.  Do you think I can fit these 33" tires with a small leveling up?   And do these leveling spacer blocks hurt the ride or damage the suspension via the geometry change?

My buddy says max out to 3" up front and 2" in back.  But I just want to know if going 2" vs 3" up front is any better for the truck wear and tear.... if you guys have any insight, it would be appreciated!

Do you think I could run a 305/70-17 on stock 17s with the rough country 2.5’ leveling kit with out any rubbing?
