boostnls1 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Hey guys i recently picked up a 2015 Silverado LT 4x4. It came with the 20" wheels which are nice, but i really want a set of bigger tires without having to lift the truck. I really like the XD addict wheels with some more aggressive tires. Anyone know whats the biggest I can run?
morrislee Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 You need a leveling kit at least, with that, most you can do is 33's
irish4life8911 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 The biggest tire you can prob run stock, NO level, NO lift would be a 275/60/20. If you go after market wheels like XD with a smaller offset than stock (+27), (XD wheel with a +1 offset or anything negative) you will be able to run a 285/55/20. Good luck choosing a tire though...... There are tons out there and everyone has a different review on all of them
boostnls1 Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 Thanks guys. I ended up leasing the truck to see how I like it, so lifting, leveling it are put of the question right now. I just would really like to add some aftermarket wheels to set my car apart.
Notenoughtoys Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I put 305/50/20 without leveling. Nitro Terra Grapplers. Tires aren't really taller than stock but much wider. Here's a picture. I have it leveled now but it didn't rub before the level. Key is offset at factory or more.
Rawyzf Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I know you guys are talking 20s, but do you think 285/60/18 (32" OD) will fit at stock height?
dboot66 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I know you guys are talking 20s, but do you think 285/60/18 (32" OD) will fit at stock height? Absolutely should fit stock height. By my calcs the height is more like 31.5". For stock 20" wheels and 275/55/20 stock tires, stock height is 31.9"

Ten7 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 3" fabtech and I'm running 35.12.50.18 BFG All Terrain KO2s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Looks awesome. Where is it rubbing, fender liner? Got any more pictures?
gmccoop Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Looks awesome. Where is it rubbing, fender liner? Got any more pictures? it's rubbing on the far inside bottom corner of the carpet type material. I could cut it and wouldn't anymore I just haven't got to it. And yeah I need to take more though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
blackout07 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Looks good Coop. Keep in mind a 3" leveling kit is a bit extreme on the front end, BFGs run quite small compared to other makers and the stock wheels help immensely. Op, I would go with a 305/50.
