Just had mine installed today. Notice a rattle, looks like it's hitting the one cross member. Anyone else have this issue?

Other then that how do you like it? Any drone?

YES!!! I just discovered that issue today. Been arguing with the installing dealer. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with Borla. Their tech says its installed improperly and all the clamps need to be loosened and the exhaust rearranged. If that doesn't work than the exhaust was made wrong.

I have dual single side exit and have no rattle on mine. Overall I love it. Not obnoxiously loud and has a low rumble that sounds good when you step on it. Some small drone. I thought the flapper valve would have done a better job. I would still do it again. Great system!

The sound is great, you can hear it but not too overly loud. I'm just pissed off about the rattle, I'm thinking if u bend up the support rod by the crossmember it would not rattle. Going to call the dealership on Monday for the, to look at it.

I haven't had any issues with mine. Borla GM version, installed at the dealer. They let me hang out with the techs..helped some too. Its not what id call loud but you know its there and sounds good when you get on it. Duals out the back. Zero drone in either V8 or V4. Almost as quiet as stock while cruzing. Perfect for me.

I take what I said back after researching what drone is. The exhaust does not resonate throughout the cabin. The sound I hear is just the funky change to V4, but its def coming from the back of the truck. Not noticeable if radio is up.

I do love it!

Went back to dealer today. They loosened up the connection after the cat and readjusted it. Gave more room. Also took a heat torch to the bracket right behind the crossmember and bent it up a little bit. No more rattle and plenty of clearence between crossmember and exhaust pipe. Easy fix, I watched them do the whole job.

They just had to rotate my front pipe up and it came off the frame. Borla techs were very helpful too. The service manager offered to install my GM mud flaps for free for all my trouble

Where are you guys purchasing the GM/Borla? Is this a dealer direct piece or aftermarket?

Thanks.

I got mine from the dealer. shopchevyparts.com has the best price I have seen, but you need to pay for shipping. My dealer met their price plus shipping.

^I'll never buy borla. I bought a system for my BMW and it was a cheap rigged system. I had a magnaflow on my F250, very good fitment and quality. BMW ended up with a flanged HKS system which was spot on. Right now the only systems that look real nice (IMO) are Magnaflow, AFE and Corsa. All others compromise somewhere.
