18" OEM Wheels - What are you guys running for tires?

I just got my CC Silverado yesterday, love the truck. However, I cannot stand the Goodyear SRA tires. Hated them back in the 90s on my old F150, and still hate them today.

Being here in MN, I need something that is functional in all climates, so Option 1 is going to be going with an A/T tire most likely. Option 2 is to put Winter tires on the 18s and pick up a set of Sierra 20s.

For now, Option 1.

What tires/sizes are you guys running on the OEM wheels? I don't plan to level yet, just trying to leave the truck pretty much as is (besides the tires).

From some reading and research on here I have seen people put the following sizes on:

265/65/18 (OEM Size) 31.5~

275/65/18 32~

285/60/18 31.5~

305/60/18 32.5~

I'm leaning towards 275/65/18, since they are a tad taller and a tad wider. However, I am a big fan of wider tires (I know that doesn't help in snow or mpg), I just think they look better. So I want to explore some.

If you have pics of your setup (preferring stock 18s or similar offset), post them up with what you're running and what you like/dislike about them.

Thanks!

I have LT 275 70 18's on mine and didnt have any issues rubbing before my level

Do you have pics? Would like to see how tall that looks at stock height.

I have 275/65r18 duratracs. They are the biggest 18'' you can get that's not LT. Keeps the tire weight down and ride still like factory

^ wish I would have done that. I have 33" duratracs on my 2.5" level and they definitely dont ride like stock!

Sorry crappy cell pics. stock rims. Rim prints and 2 inch level

Thank you, I really appreciate seeing them. Wanted to know how much the 275/65 filled up the well.

I think I'll do the 275/65 in the Cooper A/T3 or Nitto Grappler G2.

I'll have to do some price checking on them.

For shiggles, I stopped at Discount Tire yesterday.

They'll give $50/Tire credit on the 100 mile GY SRAs. So, $200 off a new set of tires (Or basically 1 tire free of the 4 needed :P).

With current rebates, I'd be out the door just over $500 if I went with the Cooper AT3 in 275/65/18.

Just got back from DT. Decided to go with Cooper ATP in 275/65/18 since they had them in stock. Looks way better now, I am happy.

I'll take some and post them up when I get home from work. I park in a ramp here at work and it's too dark for good pics.
