My 2000 and 2006 did the same. Not sure, but neither had a problem over 100k miles.

Usually an indicator of air in the system.

Check to condensation drain, It's probably plugged with gunk. I take compressed air with a long nozzle stick it all the way inside of the drain and give it a few good burst of air and water will flow out.

I have this noise too. Where do you get this long nozzle stick? Are you talking about compressed air in a can? Like the stuff to dust your computer with?

This is not good news. I had a Dodge Dakota with a clogged condensate drain. Blowing out the drain hose would help temporarily but it would always clog back up and backflow into the cab of the truck and end up short circuiting the air bag system. I know of a few other Dodge and Jeep vehicles with the same exact problem so it was pretty common with Chrysler. I hope this isn't the beginning of many years of headaches with the HVAC condensate drain.....

Both of my last two Chevy's did this from the day they were bought to the day I sold them over 100k miles. The sound is normal and won't cause an issue.

Well my condensate line is not draining. Awesome. I guess that's the reason for the gurgling sound.

Now it's draining so I dunno. Maybe it's working fine and there just wasn't any condensate when I was driving earlier? I guess I will just keep an eye on it for now

False alarm. Looks like it's backing up and that's what I saw dripping. Hopefully it's not backing up into the cab under the carpet like my old dodge

i believe this is intended functionality. i thought i heard that when the system stops pumping coolant, that it'll let out pressure on the high pressure side so the next time the compressor clutch kicks in it doesn't have standing high pressure and easies the on/off duty cycle
