Will OEM 20x9 wheels/35x12.5 tire fit 2014 with BDS 6"lift

I am getting conflicting answers from shops and BDS. I contacted BDS when their lifts first came out last year when I bought my truck and they said it would depend on brand of tire if the 20" OEM wheel and a 35x12.5 tire with fit on a 6" BDS lift. They for sure new a 12" wide tire will fit em 20x9 wheel on their lift but a 12.5 tire may need a 1/4" spacer in front or aftermarket wheels.

 

So now I am ready to order a 6" BDS with Fox coilover and I would be ok with a 1/4" spacer if it is needed. I know the OEM wheels are 6in backspace and BDS recommends 5.75" backspace. I have started seeing Zone kits with stock wheels and 12.5 wide tires on forums so I emailed BDS to ask again now that their lift has been around over a yr. BDS said I will be able to fit a 35x12.5 wide tire on OEM wheels. So I called the shop near me who is BDS authorized and they say no way 35x12.5 on em wheel will fit a BDS lift and I need aftermarket wheels.

 

Anyone seen a BDS lift with OEM wheels on this forum or any other forum. I found plenty of Zone lifted trucks on OEM wheels but not sure if Zone and BDS clearances are the same.
