I'm debeting on either getting a Bedrug liner or a spray on liner for my 2015 Sierra 1500 6.5" bed. They're both around the same price. I don't really haul anything or use it for work it's just my new toy :)

I have a bedbug in my truck and have had them in the last 4 or 5 trucks I've bought. IMO one of the best mods you can do to a truck. It looks nicer than a spray in liner. If your going to haul stuff like pallets or anything sharp edge I would get a spray in. Trust me I learned the hard way on our company truck. Installation, fit= great,,,,and looks nice 3 years down the road. Just my 2 cents

Still tossing around the idea of a rug or liner... So when a bed rug gets wet is it like a wet carpet? And what does it do if you get it covered in mud is it easy to clean off?

From the videos I saw online you can just sweep them clean or hose them off. They're made of some kind of plastic that's waterproof.. Made from the same stuff life preservers are made from. I'm not sure what happens when they do get wet, if the water just sits on it or what. I have a cover so it'll stay dry for the most part but if I do hose it down what happens to the water?

I have it, but it's under a cap. It has a foam padding underneath that's a dream to kneel on in the bed. Makes the back SUV like. I'm sure if it's dirty, nothing a power washer can't fix. And I think the water leaks through the bottom and out the drain holes.

Check it out..Bedrug vs. spray in or drop in liner. http://www.bedrug.com/education-center/why-choose-us.html

I have one, the Chevy branded version (it is a Bedrug with a Chevy bow tie stitched on the cab end). I've had all kinds of yard stuff in the bed and it's gotten wet. Hoses off or sweeps off and dries fast. It is a porous recycled plastic weave material. I've had spray in and drop in and like the Budrug for my uses better.

X2 on his report. I love my bedrug. It won't absorb oil or gas. If you do get oil on it soak the heavy part up with towels or pads. Then high pressure rinse the rest out. If you haul furniture or other objects they won't slide around either.

I've had one for my last three trucks. I love them. Way tougher than you think they'd be. Mine were under beds, but they still took a lot of abuse and held up good. They look cool too.

After having a drop in and a spray in I went with the bedbug in the new truck. I definitely will be sticking with them in the future. I want to add that I have the same Chevy bedrug and found it for 300 shipped on amazon through a Chevy dealer. If you're interested, be sure and search around.

Best investment I have ever made on a new truck. Always had spray in but this beats it hands down for usual use.

Will put one in any future truck I buy even if it comes with a spray in!

Anyone know how well a factory bed rug would fit in a 2015 Denali std bed with spray in? If they use velcro, will the velcro stick to the spray-in? Is the LEDs or "cargo management" an issue?

Not sure about the spray in liner part, but the BedRug gets cut around the cargo lights…

LOL- "We've all seen drop in liners along the highway". Not in my 36 years of driving.

I prefer drop ins for the ridged floor, suits my needs best.

In the winter I have my shanty and ice fishing gear in the bed every week. If I need to haul some soft side luggage in the back, the ridges keep it above the water, snow. (and if a person did not have a bed cover, this would apply after rain as well)

In the summer I haul our canoe/kayak/dirt bike every week, and again, the ridges keep things like my fishing rods up off the sand/dirt shed by those items. Occasionally I haul my jon boat and like that the drop in protects the whole bed.

I like the smooth nature of the drop in vs. spray ons, does not sand the hull off my $1500 canoe.

If I need to clean it, I hose it off or sweep it with a soft broom.

A bed rug or spray in doesn't accomplish this. I get that you wouldn't want to kneel on a drop in, but I can't remember ever wanting to kneel in my truck bed either.

I guess as the article says the liner shifting could scratch the bed (although most places put a pad between liner and bed) but I don't care because when I sell the truck the liner will go with it. Once they're on, I never see the bed of the truck again.
