New Hd wheels

I just got my 2015 HD, didn't really want the 20's so I eneded up with the new chromed aluminum 18's. Does anyone know if the center caps are metal ? They sound like metal / not plastic, but havent pulled one off yet.

 

With that grille & bumper, the chevys have way to much chrome for my taste, and a buddy does powdercoating. So for pretty cheap I can checkout the look of powdercoating the stock wheels black if the center cap can be done.
