Loud audio buzzing noise

Since the last set of updates they did when they put in the LTE Onstar upgrade it's never happened again. So does look like something to do with the radio.

Anyone other than BigBadSierra get a fix for this? Just noticed it for the first time last week. It's done it probably three times in the last week or two. It's a '15 midnight edition bought in December of 2015, I've got just over 7k miles...didn't know there were "updates" they install on the truck either. Truck will go in this week for oil change, I'll mention it to them then.

I had this happen twice last week with my '16 Silverado. If it starts doing it on a regular basis I'll have the dealer look at it so they can tell me "We couldn't recreate the issue".

This morning, my screen wouldn't show station and song info, volume knob wouldn't change volume, and the preset buttons wouldn't hi light the selected station. Now, it's working fine.

It could be a loose ground wire on your stereo, check all your grounds, also make sure they are touching bare not painted metal

Mine just did this again. The radio was updated about 2 months ago. The buzzing happens when the backlight of the touch screen comes on. I do not understand the circumstances that cause it to happen so randomly though. Anyone get an actual fix to this?

This is what happens when everything is controlled by computers. Mine has done it once in less then a year. Been fine since. Its what you call a "computer glitch"..

I have this issue happen daily and a 2014 GMC sierra work truck. I’m in and out of the truck all day. And it usually happens at least once a day. Every now and then the clock reset to 12 o’clock but that doesn’t always happen. It doesn’t matter if anything is plugged in or not it happens regardless and there is no pattern at all. It’s very random and the circumstances doesn’t matter it is that random.
