Hardly only America. Look what is happening to Greece right now (other countries in the Eurozone too but they seem to be by far the worst). One govt/society that can't stop gobbling down social programs is destroying the Euro economy.

Quite honestly, America is far from being the land of the entitled. I've been to a few countries, and this is the one that has the most people who actually take pride in working for their stuff. Hell, anywhere in South America work and profit are borderline seen as something evil and perverse - unless it's government work.
