Color matched front valance?

I have a black Sierra, and the front valance isn't as dark as the color of my truck. Has anyone painted their valance? Is anyone using an aftermarket valance?

 

I don't want to remove it, because I like how it makes the front end look bigger.

If you really wanted it black, I would remove it, and either plasti dip it black, and paint it black. That krylon paint is made to stick to plastic, then reinstall. It has maybe 20 bolts (think 17)

 

So that's a $8 mood vs buying a different one

One of the first things I did. Scuffed it thoroughly, prepped, painted at the GM paintshop in town. Its a pain getting it off. But worth it if you get it done right.

I plasti dip the lower valance and fog light bezels to darken them up. Well worth the price. I painted the lower valance on my previous truck and would never do it again. Freeway driving chipped the paint like itcwas sandblasted.
